Simon studied Photography at Falmouth School of Art & Design and University of Gloucestershire, turning pro in 2000.
With a background in automotive photography and anything else with wheels, Simon’s at home in all manner of locations be they mountainous, coastal, jungle, to busy urban streets or rural outposts; he’s renowned for getting the most out of a location wherever it may be.
Excited by the green innovations taking place in the autonomous and electric vehicle market, Simon captures the imagery of this emerging sector, and resonate its inevitable impact on us all in the future.
Simon also has a thing for the humble bicycle. If not shooting, you may well find him riding off the beaten track and often combining the two - a great way to find wilderness locations in an environmentally friendly way! Take a look at his Velo page.
As a personal contribution to combating climate change, Simon, together with a band of volunteers, has planted and manages more than 1,400 native trees in a North Cornwall woodland. Conservation projects have, in turn, influenced some of Simon’s most recent photography, working on community-led projects as well as with clients, both large and small, including Forestry England, Planet A Solutions, and the Local Nature Partnership, and Nomad.. Using imagery to voice their positive environmental ethos, including B-Corp status, as an increasingly important aspect of brand narrative. Pictures will always remain a most powerful means of communicating these key values to customers.
